The acoustic architecture of my instruments is guided by the knowledge I have built up in the varius workshops where I have worked, as well as by the feeling I get directly from each piece of wood I use.
I attach great importance to the choice of basic materials, from the wood for the body of the instrument, to the pegs, the soundpost and the successive layers of varnish.
Every element is crucial to the sound, comfort and stability of your instrument, which you must always be able to count on to give its best.
To ensure the highest-quality instruments, I select the materials myself from specialist tonewood merchants in Italy and Central Europe.
The finishes are "home made" using centuries-old, traditional recipes for oil-based varnish.
For the fitting up, I use the best products made by specialist craftmen that I appreciate for their reliability in terms of wood quality and finish.
