8th Quartet Festival in Tournai (Belgium)
Quartet instrument making week-end.
06/03-07/03 2010.
Exhibition of contemporary instruments by makers of different countries, test concerts with instruments exhibited, conferences etc...
Three great quartets will be playing :
-Kuss quartet (D,picture): SchubertD886, Beethoven opus 135.
-Quatuor Modigliani (F): Haydn opus 76 n°4, Schumann opus 41 n°3, Debussy opus 10.
-Quatuor Terpsycordes(CH): Beethoven opus 18 n°6, Dutilleux "Ainsi la Nuit", Mendelssohn opus 80.
Musiq'3 radio program will be broadcasting the event...

"BVMA Violinmakers Day 2009"
Sunday 8 March 2009 from 10 am untill 4 pm.
Over 50 maker from the UK and overseas display violins, violas ,cellos and their bows.
Wether you are just curious or intend to buy, this your chance to try the best contemporary work.
